As Asian air forces modernise their fleets to meet new requirements for trainer platforms, they must also update their pilot selection and training regimen to fly newly equipped aircraft. This is necessary to keep their skills sharp as they need to in the 21st century. Pilots go through rigorous training for service in live flight and simulators. Both types of training are vital, but the associated costs must be better managed, and that begins with finding the right balance between simulator systems and live training.
This event will explore new platforms available for training, as well as budgeting and doctrine that make it effective.
1. Understand the live training platforms available for sale, as well as the other technologies such as simulation systems and embedded systems
2. Learn how to better manage the costs of training, by finding good balance among simulated, live and other teaching processes.
3. Find possible training partners and/or learning best practices from regional and international militaries.
